Rev. Dave
is licensed under the O.B.F.F. He has been involved
in motorcycling since the age of 16. He has participated in ministries
within the church, and has always helped where ever his giftings
could be used whether for his pastor or others.
Pastor Dave
has served in a motorcycle ministry, as a rider and a leader learning
what God wanted him to learn and expect of him. Where he later
became President of an outreach motorcycle group for 3 years.
During this
time God laid on his heart to form Eternal Riders Motorcycle Ministry.
Where they have attended many bike shows and rallies, showing
Gods love to all whom would accept the love. From this, Pastor
Dave has been able to preach the Word of God wherever the doors
were open to him.

Pastor Dave
was born in Peterborough and was raised in a Christian home.
When he was in his early years he attended a United Church.
While growing up he was into bike clubs, car clubs, girls,
parties and the army. Part time military life taught him
how to clean and fire rifles and handguns, drive large trucks
and how to party hardy.
Then
at the age of 19 two things happened:
1.
The army changed from military to infantry and he lost interest.
2. The girl of his dreams that he waited for finally agreed
to marry him.
Life
was now looking pretty good for him.

After they
were married they had been invited to a church. They accepted
the invitation and continued going until one day a group at the
church told them they were not the kind of people they wanted
in their elite group. At this time being very hurt they walked
away from God. If people think you are no good, then what does
God think of you? Emotionally scared they both went back to their
old life.
Dave and
Karen had walked away from God. They drank, cursed and were living
an ungodly life. They rode for all the wrong reasons, followed
all the wrong people, keeping the devil in their back pocket and
putting God out in the left field.
Through a
friend, they found Jesus Christ. Beginning with Karen first,
she began attending church, later turning her life over to. Within
a week, Karen asked Dave to go to church. Dave being the man he
was, trying to keep peace in the family decided to go with her.
It was at this point in Dave's life, that God was allowed to begin
pulling out all the bad stuff. Placing in return morals and values
of Jesus Christ in his life. At this point, God could now reveal
His plan and purpose for Dave's life.
Today Dave
and Karen are working with bikers who have gone through, much
of what they've went through.
Dave and
Karen have two wonderful girls, a son-in-law and four darling
grandchildren They have been married for 39 years and enjoy the
work God has given them to do.
At this time
Dave and Karen would like to extend an invitation to any who would
be interested to visit and see what Kawartha Biker's Church is
all about.
Dave and
his wife Karen are " Bikers there to help Bikers".
